Yes I did and I did that because Nike is the Goddess of sport. She represents victory and strength. She is all so pictured on the olympic medal.

Kayaking and sport in general has been a big part of my life and after winning the silver medal at the olympic in 2008 I decided on Her ( Nike )

Is there a God of sport who stands behind you and pushes you when you row the way the ancient greeks had Nike ?.

Is there anything beyond your own effort and training ?

No, there is nothing spiritual about it. It is my own effort and training that makes me better. I don't believe there is a God looking out for me and pushing me in my sport.

You clearly have great discipline when it comes to your sport. Will Nike as a tattoo help you in your daily life outside of your sport ?

Definitely In the future I can use it to remind myself about how I pushed my self in sport. And how to fight for what I want to achieve.

Now I don't know if you have any answer to this one but why is the Goddess of victory a female ?

I must admit that I don't have the answer to that one.

Well she looks good and I think she will make a great tattoo and we might come across the answer to that later....
